Taylor Swift has arrived at Arrowhead Stadium to cheer on Travis Kelce as the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Denver Broncos—and of course, she looked good doing it.
On November 10, Swift was spotted strutting through the stadium in yet another pair of knee-high boots, though the rest of her look feels like a major departure from her typical game-day fits, which usually highlight at least one item from her growing collection of vintage Chiefs merch. This week, it seems Swift traded her leather Kansas City bomber jacket and denim shorts for a more elegant game-day look featuring a red and black tweed Versace skirt suit with jeweled buttons.
While Swift gave the look some edge with a structured black corset and those tall leather boots, she kept the overall vibe demure by pulling up her hair in a twisted up-do and finishing everything off with a structured, lady-like handbag and gold timepiece. Joan Harris would undoubtably approve.
While this isn’t the first time Swift has ditched her Chiefs gear this season, there was something slightly more rebellious about the plaid Vivienne Westwood look she wore to watch the Kansas City Chiefs face off against the New Orleans Saints on October 7. She even finished off that outfit with a playful smattering of gold glitter freckles.
On the contrary, there’s something more demure about her newest game-day ‘fit, which feels more aligned with the blue-striped Vivienne Westwood dress she wore for her night out with Zoë Kravitz in New York City on November 8. Although her latest VW look featured a similar off-the-shoulder corset as her plaid ensemble, she kicked off her favorite fall boots in favor of a more feminine pair of velvet mules and vintage-inspired purse.
Whichever version of her game-day looks you prefer, you can’t tell us Taylor Swift’s ever-evolving style doesn’t keep us on our blue-painted toes.
