If you’ve been eager to check out Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, Capcom has now released a demo for Xbox Series X|S and multiple other platforms.
It will allow you to play the start of Frank’s zombie adventure, but apparently “some aspects” may differ from the retail version. Unfortunately, save data won’t carry over if you do end up purchasing the full game.
In some related news, the Deluxe Remaster has received its first update. We’re still waiting on the official web patch notes, but it appears to have added a “casual” difficulty option, where you can level up faster. In addition to this, there are also bug fixes and an update to the language options.
When this game arrived in September, we gave the Xbox version seven out of ten stars, calling it a “no-frills upgrade”:
