The final episodes of Bleach Thousand Year Blood War Cour 3 have aired, and they haven’t achieved the same amount of hype that the previous episodes have. Episode 12 of Bleach TYBW cour 3 ended with Bazz-B dying at the hands of Haschwalth, who finished his old friend off with no remorse. In the final episodes of the cour, we’ll get to see if Ichigo actually manages to reach Yhwach. 

In this article, we’ll recap the 13th of 14th episodes of Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War cour 3. Since the 4th cour has also been announced, we’ll also cover all available information on that. This article contains spoilers from the latest episode, so readers, do proceed cautiously.

Bleach: TYBW Cour 4 Confirmed!

The fourth cour of Bleach Thousand Year Blood War was confirmed after the release of the last episode of cour 3. While the visual and PV for the 4th cour have been released, no other information about its release date has been revealed yet.

The 4th cour of Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War- The Calamity will adapt the remaining 25 chapters of the manga and will be the final part of the series. Considering the dates on which the previous TYBW cour have aired, we can assume the new cour to air around July, 2025. This, however, isn’t confirmed yet.

Recap Bleach TYBW Cour 3 Episodes 13 and 14

Episodes 13 and 14 of Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War Cour 3 are packed with information, giving the cour an apt conclusion. The group of Byakuya, Rukia, Soi-fon, and other captains were intercepted by Gerald, who denied them entry to the castle. At this point, Renji showed up and revealed that Ishida didn’t kill him, so he was saved by Hiyori and Ushouda who happened to see him. Renji, along with all the other captains, fought Gerald and defeated him by cutting him up pretty well. However, Gerald’s ability makes him stronger and larger the more he gets cut, so he became extremely large and powerful, and defeated all the captains and lieutenants in the area.

Meanwhile, it would seem Ichigo and his friends had lost to their opponent. Nakk Le (short for Nakk Le Vaar Askin) had the ability to increase or decrease his own or others’ resistance to anything. He reduced Ichigo’s resistance to reishi, which caused him to get flattened onto the ground. Luckily enough, Yoruichi came to their rescue and shit him with her Raijin Senkei. After this, she sent Ichigo toward the castle. Nakk Le still managed to get up, possibly due to his ability to develop resistance.

Yoruichi’s younger brother suddenly showed up, and he, too, fought Nakk Le, only to get stabbed by his arrows later, as Nakk Le developed too much resistance to their spiritual pressure to be damaged by them anymore. Yoruichi then fled the area as a means of trying to rescue her younger brother.

Parallel to these events, at the castle, Haschwalth, who had attained Yhwach’s powers, had cornered Ishida. He accused Ishida of being a traitor and asked him to prove his allegiance to Yhwach by killing Ichigo and his allies, who had very conveniently reached Ishida’s location. Ishida complied and fought Ichigo and led him to one of the lower floors of the castle, where he told Ichigo that it was the responsibility of all the remaining Quincies on earth to stop Yhwach when he came back to power. He infiltrated their place for that reason and even asked Ichigo to head back to the human world so that he could wipe out Yhwach entirely along with the Royal Palace.

Hashwalth caught on to Ishida’s plan due to Yhwach’s ability to foresee the future, so Ishida changed his plans and asked Ichigo to head to Yhwach, who was on the topmost floor of the palace. Since Yhwach’s powers were with Haswalth for the time being, Ichigo should be able to kill Yhwach during this period. Ishida then decided to take on Haschwalth on his own, and Ichigo trusted him with that.

What To Expect In Bleach TYBW Cour 4

Bleach TYBW has a very interesting conclusion. With Ichigo heading toward Yhwach, Ishida fighting Hashwalth, and Ichigo’s and Ishida’s fathers reaching the Royal Palace, things are steadily moving toward a conclusion. Captain Ukitake’s power has run out, and the balance between all the worlds is nearing its end; a new Soul King has to be appointed before things get too dire.
