Live performances yield a myriad of reactions from fans. Sexyy Red recently responded to Owen Wilson being seemingly spellbound by her 2024 Rolling Loud Miami set.
The Meet The Fockers actor was live at Hard Rock Stadium and went viral for looking like he was in a trance while the St. Louis rapper performed “Sticky,” her track with Tyler, The Creator, GloRilla, and Lil Wayne. As the clip made its rounds online, it caught Sexyy’s eye and she expressed her love for the 56-year-old actor.
“Dats my baby Owen,” she wrote with two kissing emojis on X. Wilson made his presence felt throughout the annual festival, especially when he joined Travis Scott on stage to perform “Fe!n” and yelled “I’m fiending for more!” into the microphone. He was on-site to film an upcoming movie named after Rolling Loud and Scott will make a cameo appearance in it.
Sexyy Red’s lauded Rolling Loud Miami 2024 set wrapped up a big year for her. She appeared alongside Drake and SZA in the “Rich Baby Daddy” music video which came out on Valentine’s Day and linked up with the Toronto superstar once again on “U My Everything” from her May project In Sexyy We Trust.
That project also hosted her major hit “Get It Sexyy,” which sampled Hurricane Chris’ “Halle Berry.” The 26-year-old rapper also expanded her reach beyond Hip-Hop with multiple appearances on WWE NXT. She debuted on WWE television in May to reveal the new Women’s North American championship, twerked with superstar Lola Vice, and announced she would host their Battleground premium live event in Las Vegas.
She returned to NXT in October to perform “Get It Sexyy” before being interrupted by former NXT champion Ethan Page. With Wrestlemania in Las Vegas coming up in April 2025, it would not be shocking to see Sexyy be part of the annual festivities.
