Yesterday, Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed Syndicate would be getting a 60FPS update for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, and that update is now available – you can jump into it right now on your current-gen console!

But how is it looking so far? Well, thanks to The Xbox Tester on YouTube, we can see gameplay of the Xbox Series X version down below, which also includes some comparison footage with Xbox Series S and PS5 Pro. These first impressions suggest that everything is running smoothly and looking good, so it seems like a positive start!

The only grumble we’ve discovered is about the character’s clothes – they still appear to be 30FPS:

Don’t forget that if you’re interested in picking up Assassin’s Creed Syndicate for Xbox Series X or S, you can do so as part of the Xbox Black Friday Sale 2024 – where it’s discounted by 75%. It’s available as part of Ubisoft Plus as well.

Also, if you’re suffering with crashes in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate at the title screen after the 60FPS update, you can get around this by removing any DLC that’s already installed. Failing that, try restarting your console and/or reinstalling the game from scratch. We’ve seen numerous reports of crashes, but it seems like an easy fix!
