NPIXEL has announced the official global launch of Gran Saga, the studio’s visually stunning MMORPG on iOS and Android. Offering a vibrant fantasy world infused with story-driven elements fans of JRPGs know and love, this action-packed experience will have you teaming up with a colourful cast of characters made more vibrant with the stellar voice actors that make up the game’s roster.

In Gran Saga, you can look forward to engaging in a thrilling mix of PvE and PvP as you scour the world for epic monsters to take down and challenging raids to team up on.

Combat is a fast-paced affair where you can control multiple characters and switch between them during battle. Characters feature four ability skills that are linked to the Gran Weapons you assign to them, providing a wide array of possibilities for character builds. Formations will also play a key-role in Arena and Guild battles which require you to position your characters on a 3×3 grid before engaging in combat.

Besides the dynamic gameplay, one of Gran Saga’s biggest strengths are its visual and audio design. This should come as no surprise as the development team features numerous creative talents: illustrator Yoshitaka Amano of Final Fantasy fame is one of the maestros working behind the scenes, with Kenjiro Tsuda (Nanami Kento from Jujutsu Kaisen) lending his vocal chops along with Kaji Yuki (Eren from Attack on Titan). Aoi Yuki (Diane from Seven Deadly Sins), Sawashiro Miyuki (Raiden Shogun from Genshin Impact) and more also bring life to more than 100,000 lines of dialogue that flesh out the narrative. Gran Saga has collaborated with composer Yoko Shimomura (Kingdom Hearts) as well to top it all off.
